ADVENTURERS
Come and join the Fun and Excitement in an Adventurer Club. Almost a
million kids around the world have discovered the Adventurer Club.
Adventurer Clubs are one of the greatest clubs ever created for children
ages 4-9. Adventurers is designed to strengthen parent-child relationships
by providing specialized weekly activities. The activities are tuned into the
psychological needs of this age group. The activities also give parents
opportunities for learning parenting skills and enjoying a special time with
their children.
Leadership
Leadership Training Seminars are provided to the all-volunteer staff each
year. The seminars strengthen their understanding of the psychological
parent-child bond. The training seminars teaches methods to enable the
parent and the child to understand their relationship to God. The seminars
teach many ways to grow and improve as a leader in your club and
community.
Curriculum
Club meetings are vibrant, creative, fun-filled adventures tailored to our
special members developmental needs! Children learn about the Bible,
health and fitness, nature, and people skills. Each child is encouraged to
participate in all activities. Special crafts, games and awards, singing and
classwork happen at every meeting. Parents assist with activities
prepared by class teachers, teach awards, prepare games or materials
behind the scenes. The parents/guardians are given assignments along
with their child. There are many age-appropriate activities on the
Adventurer curriculum. These activities range from games and outdoor
activities, to nature exploration and family camping, and to field trips and
community service projects. A six-level age-specific curriculum is used
along with over 80 specialized awards covering areas of crafts, nature,
recreation, spiritual development, and home arts.
